RISE Interns gain valuable technical and analyitical skills while tackling a research project, eventually coming all together in a Poster Symposium. Throughout the six weeks of the program, high school students will participate in weekly workshops that provide insight into the scientific process, research ethics, reading a research paper, making a poster, and networking in the scientific community. They will also benefit from sessions on college admission strategies and preprofessional health programs built into the experience.
